This page is a checklist of what the final text must cover. Replace it with reviewed
wording before launch.
Must cover
- What the service is: backup and restore of YASB configuration files. Not general-purpose file storage.
- Acceptable use: no using the storage quota for unrelated data; the right to suspend an account for abuse.
- Plan limits and that they may change with notice.
- Billing: renewal, cancellation, refund policy, and what happens to backups when a subscription lapses — read-only for the grace period, then deletion.
- Availability: no uptime guarantee; users should keep a local copy of anything they cannot afford to lose.
- Liability limits and governing law.
- Termination by either side, and notice given before data is removed.
